Developping on arcade hardware?

Post by djcouchycouch » Fri Mar 30, 2012 1:37 pm

Has anyone ever attempted to develop for any of Sega's arcade hardware platforms? I don't imagine there's a lot of technical information out there, but wouldn't it be neat to run something on Outrun hardware, even emulated?

I don't know such attempts.

Technically doable, but quite pointless in my opinion. There aren't much people who interested in console homebrews even, why spent even more effort for way lesser auditory?

Notes the MVS is an arcade system and it's funny to dev on (trust me, I tried!)
Else you have the CPS2 ;)
