General 68000 Discussion Forum?

Post by djcouchycouch » Tue Mar 13, 2012 1:41 pm

Hi,

Are there any general discussion forums for the 68000 CPU? Somewhere I can post general CPU questions. I was hoping to find something similar to www.6502.org, which has a pretty active community.

Thanks!
DJCC

Not that I know of. The 6502 seems to have a kind of cult following which is somewhat unusual. I'm not aware of any active forums or communities specifically focused on the M68000. That said, a number of people here have a fair amount of knowledge about the M68000. Try asking some questions here and see how you go. A lot of us have worked with the M68000 quite a lot, and a few of us have written emulation cores for the M68000 from scratch.

I think 68K cult following is mostly exists on the Amiga and Atari ST scenes, so perharps you may check some related forums for a 68K section.

Considering the Genesis has a 68000 and many devs program for it in assembly, you should be able to ask 68000 questions at any Genesis related site... like this one!
