As the RPJ host, I'm pleased to let everyone know the fourth Retro Platform Jam will be starting March 18! This time the Jam has been extended an extra week. In the past we've had at least 2-3 Mega Drive games built for the Jam, but as a Genesis fan myself I'm always hoping for more.

For anyone who hasn't heard of us, the Retro Platform Jam is a game jam hosted on itch.io specifically for building games for retro hardware. We have our own, programming-model-based definition of what constitutes retro hardware. This means that the X360 and PS3, despite their age and numerous memes to the contrary, are not considered retro due to their architectural and tooling similarity to common PCs.

That being said, just about everything from 8-bit micros to the PlayStation are welcome.
