These 16Mbit FLASH ROMs, that used in our cards, are 70ns access time, ;) So, you think that will be enough?
PS Next project with RAM cart was calculated at 70ns access time too.

I would love to have a few cards too! Quite a few of my friends still play Mega Drive and I know for sure that they would all be interested in a card like this! :D

One thing I haven't seen on a cart that would be nice is regular RAM. FlashROMs are okay, but with regular RAM you could make conversions of games that need more RAM than is available in the Genesis (like Doom). I'd like to see a cart with 4M of flash and 4M RAM (switchable) so that you can do carts or conversions that require RAM.

Gimme a cart with 4M of RAM and I'll buy it. :D

I would have a 4MB SRAM cart if the store would not have stopped selling 512KB SRAM chips.... my 256KB SRAM cart works sufficiently well at least :)

"Combo memory" from mobile phones is just that: FLASH + PSRAM in a single die, too bad it's very low voltage, usually 1.8V. :(

It is possible to build cart-based games that run on SegaCD. I know it's not 4 megs, but having the extra 256K in addition to the 4M in the cart might offer some possibilities without any custom hardware. Once you go outside the norm, though, if you ever wanted to distribute something (PD or not), you'd have to build carts - you couldn't even play on emulators unless you convince the emulator writers to support your special hardware.

Or use the conventional method of save-ram (banked with the game rom), but for general purpose, every emulator should support that.

on real HW, with very minor modifications in the cart, you cna get 8MB of ROM. A side effect is lack of TMSS screen...

It'd be a good idea to setup a Paypal account for payment. A lot of people already have Paypal, and it's probably the most trusted method of making online payments. Not really sure what's involved in setting up a Paypal account to receive payments, but lots of people seem to manage it, so it can't be too much hassle.

PayPal does not work in Russia. It allows to pay through it using credit card (from 2007), but not allow to recieve payments.

International bank transfer or cash in envelope(which is illegal) are good options...
