Probably not the best place to announce that but i just realized that Gens site isn't dead. It also concerns the SeF (Sega Emulation forums). Here're the news locations for both place :

Of course i'm still there, i'm following with lof of interests all discutions here, very pleasant forum
Afaik i would love to do more for genesis development, i still want to improve the dev kit i started sometime ago

Does the Gens forum also cover Gens/GS? I noticed that gerbilsoft mostly posts at Sonic-Retro. I ask since that's the most actively developed branch of Gens.

Actually he's up to him, he can if he want, for now i don't think there is many informations about Gens/GS on Gens Forum but he can freely post in
