Cool. The MD desperately needs a tracker that is decent. Are you planning on adding MIDI? Options: RS232 and USB if using UMDK. I can help contribute MIDI/Serial code if you need it. It makes good sense to have MIDI control as then musicians can get their hands on the MD  UMDK is out, but ...

Would it be useful if the cartridge included an RTC which could be read through the cart edge? I could map it at 0x300000. It could be read, reset and written to ... but would increase costs. It would not drain the battery like pokemon though, because it would not be needed to connect to the battery...

Half the time I don't know if you're being an ass He's a good guy. I think it's a cultural thing, and his English is better than my Russian! I can make the same claim! Half the time I don't know if you're being an ass, but it probably the poor English. Lunks to code supporting an auto region ...

What options are you going to give for PAL users? A toggle option? I've thought about it. I don't currently know if the system allows NTSC/PAL detection, so for the time being I'm prepared to do NTSC and PAL versions separately. But if I can get it to detect what region console it's running on then...

Does the YM have a support for more octaves than the PSG? I was playing with GenMDM this afternoon and some of my MIDI inputs were not sounding on the PSG when they would on the YM. The lower end wasn't supported by the PSG IIRC.

I was worried you were going to say you hit the memory limit and have to give up! Don't scare me like that! Hah...

Glad to hear you ... hear sound. :P Is it about time to edit your main thread with the latest version updates? Can't wait to test a demo for you.

Good morning. Im up too, just had my coffee and am now researching NES graphics manipulation. Good to see how motivated you are; day after day. That sounds interesting. Maybe one day I'll have a go with Nintendo's cpus. A tracker for the SNES would be interesting and challenging to do! Like ...

What causes the annoying sawtooth like tone on the PSG? I got it to go away with the initial tests but now that I have a way to read my sequencer data to find the correct note for the psg... It's come back. I'm only using one PSG tone channel right now at all, I'm getting the normal square wave but...

So he can connect a button to pb6, yes? I think the reasoning he wants to mod it, is so he doesn't have to locate a light gun to use as a Dev tool. :P

If it is in fact pulled up, then a switch to ground should work. I don't know what that specific pin is for though. Is that the pin used for the gun data?

Basically you're working with bytes, words and long words. There are some bit operations, boolean algebra... but for setting and resetting specific bits like that, other than the boolean opcodes and rotating bits I'm still learning the 68k instruction set. Well I know you can pack 1's and 0's with ...
