About the bankswitching: well, by designing a custom bankswitching scheme, one can get access to as much memory as wanted. Didn't SEGA have a bank switching solution available for game developers? I remember reading (wish i remembered which forum\post) it even works just fine with the 32X or 32X ga...

Re: dilemma timr

Couldn't the MD go up to 32MB with bank switching? Also wasn't 4MB the max without breaking Sega CD compatibility anyway?
Not sure if any emulators already support such a thing to test tho. Maybe Genesis Plus GX?

Awesome update, as usual, even tho it doesn't yet include the major FPS bump. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8510886/share/w3dmdf.png And other than the bit of garbage above the "Score" and "Health" I've finished the whole Episode without any issues! (Using BizHawk - Genesis Plus GX r580.) Also...

Choosing passwords over saved games? Whaaat. This. We're living in 2014, you know. I recognizes suggesting passwords over save game for the function described was not totally thought out, as unlike game like Sonic 3, Phantasy Star or The Story of Thor, it doesn't really matter if the batter...

First off, great new beta release! It's just really ALMOST complete that first chapter, and with one more boss we can start aiming for 100% playthroughs of it. :P Now it is easier to grab the items (now it is as in the original). Just something I've noticed: It seems like grabbing the objects is a b...

Short but sweet experience.
Grats on your little game. :D

Only question is... why does it take "so much" space? Heh.

Well, I've been fixing some bugs and I made some small optimizations, and I've also added dogs and SS, and I want to add the end of level screen, in a few days I'll be posting this new version, which will already be almost complete (the first episode), and only left to do the final boss of the epis...

Oh... the wait...!
Wonder if gasega68k already had time to work on this project some more, and maybe add some new enemies. :D

Regarding the pickups topic, how exactly does the SNES edition does this anyway (if anyone knows)?

Well, it's "Control" on the DOS version... Yeah, but for example the option to actually change the buttons is called "Customize controls" (tested on the Free browser edition). http://3d.wolfenstein.com/game_EU.php This version has a few errors in the maps tho, so I'm aware it's not fully reliable f...

Shiny new update! And of course, I ended up playing the hell out of it... again! Some of the musics I made a little different , I download a lot of midis and mp3 , and some seemed to me it sounded better than the original and I did more similar to these (eg the song that plays on the secret level ) ...

Twitch Plays?

I'm sure most know all about the newest "Twitch Plays Pokemon" craze. (at www.twitch.tv/twitchplayspokemon ) Going with the flow, I've decided to create something a bit crazier to go with it, for the fun of it. Instead of GameBoy Pokemon; Mega Drive\Genesis Street Fighter. (at www.twitch.tv/foxprite...

Definitely very impressive to say the least; nice and smooth.
Plus, its really nice to see some work with the Mega CD too, since the commercial games never really did much with it.

Thank you for the continued updates on your awesome project gasega68k! Been holding back on placing a comment on the new music, in order to properly appreciate the MD\Gen version of the songs. And they are indeed pretty good! Every track was well converted, just with a MD\Gen 16-bit'y style to it. T...
