Yeah, he means the 64-bit build. The 32-bit builds will work fine on 64-bit Windows due to the WoW64. What kind of speedups would we see on a 64-bit build, if any?

I completely disagree with you, by your logic emulators shouldn't have a "save/load state feature, or video filters feature, save screenshots feature, show fps feature, fast forward feature, etc..." because features like that could "also" ruin the experience because you can't do that on the actual ...

Sega Magistr Drive 5 It's a clone console. :P I highly doubt Kega or Regen will support or emulate it because it's a clone console and not official hardware. Can you verify your other consoles are actual Sega hardware and not clones themselves? Also, probably by modifying them, it made them sound m...

I may use Kega Fusion if this emu will have Boost PSG Noise and abilities to Adjust PSG Volume We'll see. If added it'll probably be adjustable via the INI file. i almost forgot in Kega Fusion 3.61 sound not work in game "Speedy Gonzales" Actually 3.61 was CORRECT. There is no music on a real Genes...

Well, it's probably the TV's sound output that made it sound like you remember it. However, the sound coming from the Genesis itself is a little different. In accurate emulation, the actual hardware needs to be emulated. But, I suppose PSG boost works for you, yes?

I really can't understand why people all in this forum say: Boost PSG Noise for test only Because it's something you can't do on real hardware. Any features or options that deviate away from real hardware emulation are considered "test" options for one's enjoyment or need to tweak. Kega got it righ...

Yeah, the No-Intro set is sometimes a hassle, but I suppose it's worth it. Personally, I have both the No-Intro set and the GoodGen set.

The Vista/7 UAC issues can *probably* be taken care of by adding a manifest within the program containing... <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <assembly xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1" manifestVersion="1.0"> <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2"> <securit...

I am curious to know how Fusion's sound is incorrect. I'd like to know this myself. Also, 64-bit version please. :P P.S. You're not using the "Boost PSG Noise" feature when testing for sound issues, right? I'd advise using only the SuperHQ feature when testing for sound issues or else the tests *ma...

Also, I took the liberty of fixing some typos in the History. :P Version 0.97 ------------ * Preliminary Genesis/Megadrive VDP Mode 4 (SMS mode) support. Well, in my honest opinion I don't really hear a difference between Kega and Regen (I've got really good ears as you know!), which is a really good thing now. :P But damn, with all the changes you could of bumped the version number to 1.0. I'll be doing some testing in regards to cheats and st...
