Yes, and i own several US MDII, i plug them with french rgb cord & it works perfectly. (but will the system output rgb signal? i'm not sure) The mod is very simple. Just have to open scart, cut the power line of the circuit, and that's all (excellent french site : http://www.segakore.fr/articles/mod...

At my point of view, RGB câble offert better image than RF câble.

Sadly, RGB câble includes a pcb wich swith TV to AV channel, and this pcb parasitizes video signal.

A mod exist to repair those defect câbles. After this you'll have a clear image :)

Edit : AV câble, you mean RGB câble right?

To tell the thruth, i'm coding some idiot program to training me at MD coding.

With this non-region locked démo, i can see if the console is set to jap, us, eur or even asia region (it's useless, but this is just training for me at this time ;))

Ok, i just did the test, it works for me. First, i decreased colors to 16max. Save the file, 8bits bmp. Converted with genitile with this command line: genitile square.bmp -pal -sprw 1 -sprh 1 -o asgcc then, rename two files squarep.s and squaret.s In file, i add those lines : .global square_pal .gl...

I've made a program to detect the megadrive config (usefull when i just mod a megadrive and don't know the switch position)

I wanted to detect what type of joypad was connected, just for fun, so don't work hard for this, it was just for training for me ;)
