Is there any reason it would run differently on vista 64 vs. 7 64?

Nemesis, you've got a great approach to emulating chips inside of a system and the way in which they interact with an XML file. I'm curious how you handle game cartridge layouts then. Of course you want to use standard rom formats but how do you interpret what kind of pin layout a game had, or how w...

Thanks, that's exactly what I was hoping you would say. The first thing I used to do was turn those settings on, so I'm glad to hear that it's all on and being emulated by default.

it's not THE hardest, but getting all the sprites to render properly in Thunder Force IV can be a challenge for some emulators.

ah yes, that does complicate things a bit. I'd have to look up how to add the signals together.

This would be a great project. It would preserve the hardware, and allow you to play with theoretically less loadtimes. I'm looking to get floppy emulation hardware for a lot of my old PCs (X68000, FM Towns, etc) so an optical disk emulator also seems like a good idea. There are already people doing...

Re: help needed for megadrive audio modding.

I made contact with a member named Tiido Priimägi... asking for his advice. He replied: This will not work because the YM2608 is not fully software compatiblewith YM2612, all games using the DAC channel will not have PCM samplesounds. I don't think the output is something other DACs can handlebesid...

Hey Nemesis, I was curious if there is any newer public build of Exodus than the one released in 2007

I don't mean to nag but I've been a fan for a long time and was just wondering if there have been any public updates since then.
