Sorry about the delay. Having trouble tracking down all my latest stuff. Here is what I could find: http://www.sendspace.com/file/zlmguz It contains two .bins. One was the demo released mentioned at the beginning of this thread. The second is a partial build of when I have moved completely to Stef's...

Agreed, this site and this sub-forum is certainly not the place for license discussion. It's a place to further the home-brew development of the Genesis / Megadrive. We should be encouraging of new developments. I don't see anyone else using thats out there to make their own emulator, so just take i...

Maybe if this scene was newer and more popular, scene wars would be beneficial, but we are just a small group of developers and enthusiasts. I think having everything in once place is the best route. These forums are a good example of that. If anything at least one site linking all the other sites t...

Heya Guys ^_^, I'm still around. I visit this forum daily and read up on all the happenings. Real life just has been overwhelmingly busy for most of my hobbies (got a new job, bought a house, car, working on house, getting married, working all the time to pay for it all, etc). I'll post my very last...

Yeah, Stef's GCC is quite nice :), I liked XGCC, but still isn't as nice as the version of GCC that Stef includes.

Vectorman was a pretty solid Genny-only franchise I believe.

You should see if you can find a copy of Easy Recovery Pro, it will allow you to recover files after a format (as long as the area of the HD that the files were stored on haven't been overwritten by new data).

Has saved my butt a couple times :D.

Off topic to this, Sonic Spinball would be a game I'd love to see the source for... apparently it was done in C, outsourced by Sega of America to a set of programmers in the US. I'd be interested to see what compiler, methods they used.

Any previously unreleased original development software and documentation is always a welcome addition in improving the home brew Genesis / Mega Drive Dev scene and better undestanding development. Thanks for sharing drx!

I use Photoshop to make the images (making the image indexed for the colors I want, saving the palette as a file if I need to mix and match), then I use Kaneda's gfx tool (the old one with the dos window :D) to convert the image. Then I just use notepad to move the colors around if needed. Pretty ra...

Sugoi! Thanks Stef, I'll try this out tomorrow. I encourage anyone else, experienced or not to give the devkit a chance, find bugs, send stef your useful functions / ideas, etc. He is excellent about listening, fixing things, implementing new ideas, and great about communicating. I've really enjoyed...

Just a quick note as I have to leave soon, but I've started working on Genesis Wars again. I've been porting it over to Stef's GCC Dev Kit and it's going great, the controller functions are awesome btw! Here is a vid of the port so far, just a the intro and main menu. I'm playing some music on it to...
