Simple, do it how Kega does it. Automatically convert it to it's hex address.
3A7-E4C-2A2 becomes 3237E4:3A
And I don't believe the SMS had a Game Genie, since I can't find any codes for a SMS GG at the moment. =|

Well, addresses that start with FF are the typical PAR RAM patches. Any addresses starting with 00 is a ROM patch converted from a Game Genie code. Example, AW1A-AA0A converts to 00AEC0:6004 which does work in a real PAR as a ROM patch. If anyone has noticed, Kega automatically converts Game Genie c...

I guess it would be better if we leave ROM patching outside emulators and use separate patcher programs, right? Mmm, no. Hard patching in this case causes the original ROM file to be permanently altered from it's original state. Soft patching while the game is running in an emulator ensures the ori...

UPS is actually the better patching format, since it doesn't have certain limitations. It's designed to be the successor to IPS patches. You can find some information about this patching format here . bsnes and eventually Nestopia will support this format. :) And no, it has nothing to do with GG or ...

I don't care about PAR codes. I think you shouldn't support them at all. However, I would like to see a decent patching system, something far better than what Fusion has. The current cheat system in Regen doesn't appeal to me at all. What sort of patching system patching system do you want? (sorry ...

Ok, have you guys tested Sonic 3 (And Sonic 3 & Knuckles) with the part where the bomber is dropping bombs behind you? The sound of the bomber doesn't sound right to me (sounds like it cuts out). Can anyone else confirm this? EDIT: Found something else. When you turn a PAR/GG/Hex code off, it doesn'...

Also, I think it'd be kinda pointless to point out the beta 2 of v0.8 with PAR fixed crashes on exit with a ntdll.dll error (which is a memory crash). Did it crashed once or every time? I absolutely hate these bugs. They take most of the time getting fixed. BTW, So all the PAR codes are now working...

Actually dragging and dropping a ROM into Regen (in it's directory with config and other needed files) it tries to load up thinking you're using it for the first time, then the window loads, and crashes. Also, I think it'd be kinda pointless to point out the beta 2 of v0.8 with PAR fixed crashes on ...
