Why do you need to access YM2612 with 68K and z80 at the same time ?

Well, if you want them to run on emus, you NEED to emulate the additional HW aswell if the games depend on it.

I would get it, but I have no MCD and I've built all the hardware required to test/develop/enjoy whatever that runs on MD. Latest thing I built is 4MB (32Mb) flash cart (which I managed to damage somehow).

Yes I did !!! That hassling with smd components and other tiny stuff was definately worth it. BUT I'm not very food on analog electronics so there are some things which I should redo (improve audio amplifications stuff). Last days, I've messed with getting decent RGB out of the system, I'd tell more...

Not true for my system !!! I've modified the audio mixing part and now it has really great sound output, with almost 100% stereo separation. Original sound output system has poor stereo (50% separation) and a bit distorted (very very slightly).

See, real system always sounds better than emulation, no matter if you're using the best or worst of them.

BASIC is like one of those languages, that nobody (except BASIC freaks like me) wants to use, and because of its slowness in the past (now its fast) nobody even thought of having a BASIC compiler for their CPU. And actually I don't care about portability, I use too much ASM so it will ruin every cha...

Official FreeBASIC IDE (made by vongodric) is similiar to things you use according to you, anyway, people do crazy stuff in QB/FB now, FB is as fast as C, while it is simple as BASIC. I'm moving to FB but first I'll use DOS version then later WIN.

You'll be impressed how different it looks on emulator and TV. Kega has very good DAC... but it seems to play my WAVPLAYs little faster than on the real thing.

Why do you think I'm messing with Visual Studio ? I'm messing with 17 year old DOS stuff, I like it so much because it does this nice syntax checking and is very user friendly (well, maybe not for people who have never seen DOS software in action).

Steve told me to put dummy data to reach maximum bitrate and avoid any seeking problem between each chunk of 1second fmv... That would work but it is extremely "sad" method. I don't know if it helps, but Sonic CD uses this method, after 3 frames(or more, I don't remember) there's lots of "nothing"....

5 Khz is not something which can called "pretty good", but i've to admit that sound not that bad at least ;) I don't know if you have tested Duke3D on the real thing, but I can say, that it looks and sounds awful on emulators, sound is bad especially on Gens, because its DAC is not very good. On th...
