By all means, please continue ;) . Perhaps I can learn something myself from here and make a TV filter myself. This stuff is interesting and all, and it's way beyond me how someone could shove all this information into a program and call in an emulator/simulator/whatever. Amazing. It's still a lot ...

1280,800,60,100,1066,854 should do it. I am a complete idiot. How do you calculate this for other resolutions? Like 1920x1080. My head hurts. How much border is there? Is that included in 320x240? adfgdah :?: EDIT: This is what I came up with: 1920,1080,60,100,1498,1158 I couldn't tell you exactly ...

Please keep some sort of idiot-proof function (for me) to scale the final 4:3 to the largest possible for your indicated resolution. I'm playing with Kega's Expert Options, but I can't for the life of me figure out how many pixels to add so I can minimize the overscan borders (to try to achieve the ...

You probably know this already but... unfiltered/internal screen shots from the emu snapshot function are not going to retain the aspect ratio. I think I've see one or two emu's that allow you to take filtered snapshots. Both Kega and Regen can take filtered screenshots, so this is covered. Thank y...

Well, this video stuff also applies to Regen because it's not 100% accurate based on my little screenshot investigation and personal experience. If Kega's output is 100% correct, then Regen's simply isn't. I'm running Sparkster NTSC. In Kega I disabled aspect options and have it set to "Normal" with...

Snake, I have to say that I love Kega. Thank you for all your work.

Why doesn't Kega output an image that's the largest 4:3 ratio for the indicated resolution? This has something to do with the overscan borders, no?

Does Correct Aspect Ratio + Stretch = like a TV? Nope, Correct Aspect + Stretch = largest 4:3 image in selected fullscreen resolution. ... Isn't that what a TV is/does? Regen provides lots of aspect correction options so at least one should please you :) Unless I learn something better, the above p...

Someone had mentioned the difference in video clarity between Kega and Regen at supposedly equivalent video settings. Kega is clearer. I decided to investigate. Please download and take a look: http://www.sendspace.com/file/2bnkfv Regen(Normal2x).bmp: Regen "filtered" screenshot (the Normal2x "filte...

I thought we weren't really supposed to compare to Kega, but I will. Sound issue: Zombies Ate My Neighbors Konami Screen is really crackly. Similar to the crackliness of CV: Bloodlines BGM 26. EDIT: Phantasy Star II overworld map song in Kega: If you listen carefully, you can barely hear little wopp...

Sound issue: Phantasy Star II Listen to the overworld map song (outside the city.) A ways into the song, an instrument makes a few "waAWP" sounds. Sort of squeaky-like. This used to happen in old GYM emulators and even the original in_vgm.dll. Not supposed to be there (unless that's how it's suppose...

I'm trying to figure out what that huge "7" means in the about window. :P Quick Save State works! Yay! However, there's no checkmark by Slot 0 by default. Save State As still saves a state with no extension instead of GSX. Power Off disables all sound in subsequent loaded games. Question about Genes...

No attachments on this board? :( But you said the debug version is a little slower. :( Anyway, here's my savestate from... er, I was trying to load a Sonic 3 state in S&K, that's why it was corrupted. However, I tried it in Sonic 3 and that was corrupted too. This state was generated from Quicksave....

Continued Quick Save State discussion here, because I'm not using the debug version of Regen: The Quick Save State function is completely broken for me, for all games. Sonic and Knuckles managed to create a state just before the emulator automatically closed. The state was *game name*.GS0. Quick Loa...
