Yep that sounds great ! IMO a nice feature for color reduction would be : - specify target RGB space (RGB333 for instance). - specify the wanted maximum number of colors (totally free) - enable or not dithering to improve the visual quality. You can use my direct color converter. First you convert the image to direct color and convert it back to png then the outputted png will have only genesis colors. http://sega16.x10.mx/directcolor.html
