I think it might be a problem with your startup.s file, maybe deleted a space in the "title" area? thus throwing off the offsets.

A bit late, but here is a snippet of code I converted from the Atari ST Star Raiders to the GCC .asm file. It was a pain at first but you start getting the idea after awhile... Hope this might help

Just a screenshot of a simple hello world I made using Stef's SGDK. This is the first code I was able to get running on the Sega, thanks to your help! :D

This was accomplished using Chilly Willy's toolkit, SGDK, and Devster's old SGTD!! program.

Just gave it a long spin on the Everdrive cart, it brought back the memories.

Did the stars look ok (not flickering)? I'm doing direct video memory writing so I'm curious to see how these emu's handle it.
