Re: wolfenstein demo for sega genesis
I'm incredibly curious too on the current status of the project. Still play the available demos every now and then, but honestly after the whole mess with some guy trying to sell his demo on ebay, I'd take a 2 or 3 year break from the project too and consider an official or semi-official release bef...

Very early demo or not, it looks quite promising! Thanks for sharing your work and for bringing it to the Mega Drive!! Was also going to ask why "Y" turns left instead of left, but now I noticed it was probably me who shouldn't have use a 6 button controller to try it out at such early stage. xD I'l...

How can you disagree if you haven't even tried the controller I'm talking about? I disagreed with the "one-button strafe will always be far less confusing to use" part. Because I find that it's far more confusing using the same button for both functions, that's all. Mode: Shoot The Mode button was ...

No matter which buttons from the top row you use, the one-button strafe will always be far less confusing to use Going to have to totally disagree on that. I've always found it very unintuitive to use before, and basically never used it, unless I was purposely testing strafing. Since 10.5, I've bee...

So many shiny new changes, so little time to test them all... a thousand times. :P Let's start with the "Get Psyched" screen. Freaking love the changes! Before I used to be mashing Start to skip it asap, now it doesn't bother me at all. The loading bar filling and shorter time spent looking at that ...

Everything about the menu I'm fixing it now, although the menu "Sound" will be a little different, instead of having "A, C = Select" "B = Back" at the bottom, you will only have "B = Back" because in the Sound Test, I will use the A Button to play, and C to stop. The loading bar "Get psyched" is do...

On the PC, the menu "customize" is separated from "control", and so I'll do it too, in the menu "control" will be the options "3 button", "6 button" and "customize" and then, in the menu "customize" will be the configuration of buttons, depending on the type of the chosen control. Now the method to...

And about the "demo mode" (demo playback), well, that is something that is still in the "to do" list. :) I remember you mentioning in the Sega-16 forums, that you just MIGHT include that too in the next release, so I had to comment on it. :P While I know the menus are still a work very far from bei...

Another great update. Looking back to when the project started, it's funny thinking some users didn't believe the project would be able to keep the ~14fps it was achieving when more stuff was added. And now it's running at 16~18 fps most of the time with everything in place. The engine really improv...

Such a welcome distraction! Thank you for the update as usual. :) Only had a few minutes to play but until now all I've noticed were slightly... slippery controls? Not sure exactly, but they just don't feel as fast and accurate to respond as before. Maybe I'm just sleepy, but I'll definitelly test t...

But it doesn't look light on RGB I was under the impression the change was still very helpful for SCART RGB users. (Personally can't test on real hardware as I don't own a flash cart.) Well, it's an option that can't be turned on and off, so it's not gonna bring any problems at least. I've seen thi...

Currently I have already made the necessary changes to use Hint, and now the game goes up to 19fps, even without optimizations. :) I will also add finally the option of "filters" to improve the image as it is now easier to do. I smell... another playthrough to test it out when ready. xD Still now...

This probably a stupid question but do you think you'll ever be able to include the other chapters? or would ID be dicks about it? Having the full game would be a lot of work I imagine but it would be awesome! its just a shame that now that everything seems to be running perfectly the rest of the g...

Nice, a new video . And nicely played on that difficulty. :P You were probably gonna mention the video in your next post, but after watching, it reminded me of something I completely forgot to mention before. At 08:43, what's the deal with the dog barking as you're shooting that SS officer? xD Also,...

On the picture you show, I know you played in an easy difficulty, you should try it on the maximum difficulty. And with a bit of emulation magic... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8510886/share/w3_vhard.png Playing without save-states on the last difficulty would be crazy >.< Sometimes t...
