After some investigation, I can't find anything editor-related that could cause this bug. It does not occur in TFM MM, and not much has been changed in instrument editor code. Furthermore, instrument test and player are separate independent pieces of code. Parameters of the instrument are correct. T...

AR and RS are located in the same YM2612 registers and stored in a single byte, that's how them related. This is a bug that they affecting to each other, I'll check this later.

Instrument editor does not work fine with this instrument too. Notes are silent right after reset, instrument editor uses separate emulated 2612 that could be reset with Shift+Esc. It seems that AR of operator 4 is out of range, although it is displayed as proper value (just change it to the same va...

I think, if you don't need Z80, you can stop it once. Although the thing that Stef have said that hardware somehow can request BUS makes me doubt now.

There is the clipping in emulators, actually, it is just not that strong.

The fact that no one in all these years reported me about the problem ensures me that no one actually care (alternatively, it is not that important, because it works anyway), and thus I'm lazy to fix it.

TFD format does not support DAC and PSG, and never will. It was a simple alternative for VGM format in TFM MM, and it is obsolete in VGM MM. I'm not even sure TFD export still works.

Currently there are no ready-made players for music with DAC and PSG to use in games.

Get latest TFM MM, 1.51. Load your music, go Instrument/Scale slot TLs, set value to ~10-20, All Instruments, OK. Export music and try if the clipping is there. If it still present, you need to use higher value in the dialog.

That's the most often asked question, the answer is in the docs: PSG channels aren't equal. There are three tone channels (PSG 1-3), and one noise channel (PSG 4). There are few noise channel modes, some of them also use PSG 3: Normal white noise mode only allows to use three pitches of the noise - ...

I think, in France it is the same as everythere - it is defined by the contract, although by default all rights to work you've done goes to your employer. Anyway, by 'developer' I meant not a person but company. Developer company can develop a game independently and then sell rights to a publisher, ...

Rights never vaporized on bankrupcy, reorganization, folding, etc. They are moving to someone (sold on an auction or something) or still property of someone who owned the company. It is often very tricky to trace who owns rights to something. Also, there are often third parties who could claim the r...

If problem is actually there but no one reported about it in more than a year since the release, I guess it is not important to fix it. Anyway, I can't fix it by the reasons I've explained above.

I don't know. It was tested by few people. That should not matter, actually, because after release it was tested by many people with different consoles and carts, including ones from this forum, who are tech-minded and probably would notice and report the problem right after the release.

No one of those who tested the game on the HW reported about these graphical glitches at the time when I worked on the game. I don't have real console and flash cart, so I can't see and fix the problem. Source code is open, if someone fix the problem and send the fix to me, I'll update files on my w...
