Why not set up hooks for high-res tiles instead? From what I understand, bg & sprite images are are stored in the game ROM as groups of 8x8 tiles, that are copied to VDP RAM as necessary, and then rendered to screen. I was only being sarcastic about using MS Paint. Actually, I'm still using Photoshop. Hi. I can help... I think. I'm still having problems with 32X32 3-4 color tiles... (Photoshop spoiled me with it's 24 bit colors & 72 dpi resolution... :roll:)
