i used blender once to generate animated legs. it made the animation process quicker. they sucked though so i went over them in paint. guess GraphicsGale using stickmen would be alot faster for testing animations. http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/8417/legsv.png Jedite01, i thought the sliced orang...

I wrote some notes down how to write one layer convertor, but im too busy at the moment, it would be complicated to write. This would be straight forward conversion, no compression unless needed. Find the tile that uses the most colours in one, if > 15 colours do a tile compression. Complete as many...

It can be done as long as the bmp image uses 1 pallet for each 8x8 pattern. 1 pattern or sprite can only use 1 pallet at a time, unless you do some magic with 2 backgrounds or something. As long as all the 8x8 patterns on the image use 1 of the 4 pallets (or 2 with 2 backgrounds) it should be ok. It...

The convertor would convert the PCM.wav into one dominant frequency. You would write a frequency decoder in the convertor, it would use the peeks of the waveform to determine the frequency. http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/8930/wava.png 14 Hz reads in 20 ms, divide the reads by 20 = the average freq...

Me try again :/ So say this is a PCM.wav file, the pixels represent each pulse. http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/8577/pcma.png Say you make the convertor program split the PCM.wav into 50 frequencies per second. http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/6206/pcmb.png So, every 20 miliseconds on the mega dr...
