Thanks for the reports! I should probably start keeping a list of games with known issues, that way I can investigate each one, and note the cause of the problem. It'll also greatly assist in testing when I believe I've corrected the problem that caused the issue.

Yeah, I should do something about that. The emulator isn't actually hanging, just running very slowly. It happens when the M68000 starts hitting the VDP memory block and trying to execute code by reading from its ports. There's an edge-case timing issue in the VDP core that's triggered in this case ...

I found a bug, if you run emulator without the game (System -> Run System) and wait a minute, the frame counter stops and the emulator hangs.

And yet, emulator randomly hangs during gameplay, in any case, it happened to me on two games Comix Zone and Super skidmarks.

Thanks for the report guys, I've pushed a fix for the error to the repository, and updated the download to include the fix. Here's a hotfix for anyone who's already downloaded it:

I see, performance has increased much more than 30-40%, goes up to ~170% (a little secret, where), in difference between the old and the new version of Exodus. Can't wait.
