Re: Mega Marble World - Fail!

This looked like a nifty original game, it's sad it's going to be cancelled now since distribution isn't happening. Regarding Piko, I try to think he's not a bad person and give him the benefit of the doubt, regardless of anything I have to say here. For one, if anyone is wondering, and I'm sure it'...

I wish I noticed this topic sooner :!: Especially since it started with my quote and all  It may be a bit late now, but I may as well share what I had in mind since I'm assuming shiru hasn't found anything yet that interests him. Well, at the moment I can't think of any open source games that s...

I'm not looking to export to basic, exporting as a .bin file would be better. I'm not familiar with lua scripting too so I dunno anything about implementing what this stuff  Looks like I'm outta luck. I'm confused why no map programs seem to give the option to load more than one tile set, since...

Necrobump. I know this is old and all, but I'm just discovering it and any new questions may as well be in here :) So I want to know a few things. First, I'm trying to make something with BasiEgaXorz. Can I use this program for that? Looks like it only outputs asm, too bad there's no option to expor...

Well, the hacker disabled Sram init and now saving works perfectly, on flash carts and Regen. I guess that was the solution, though it confuses me since that would seem to mean that sram is disabled entirely.

Thanks for the info :)

New translation patch glitches in Regen, help?

A translation I was a part of was released today, for an RPG called Barver Battle Saga. http://www.romhacking.net/trans/1467/ The game screws up when you play it in Regen, namely at the title screen if you choose New Game, it goes black and you have to press A to continue in game. In game, if you tr...

Wow, that's pretty interesting. I gave it a try and tested the test rom and am actually impressed to see something! :p I hope you continue working on it, shows a lot of potential. I like how the rom can compile just like that too. I'm not used to that commodity with Genesis programming

Game Maker/MMF type program for game making?

I seriously doubt it's possible, but would a game maker environment like Multimedia Fusion or Game Maker ever be something doable for Genesis programming? That's about the extent of the question... :) I know it probably sounds naive, but it's an interesting idea that I don't think any game systems h...

I don't get how to make new patterns. I press the ^ thing next to "patterns" and instead of making a new box in the order list, the one I'm on turns into 1 from 0. How do I make it a unique? I assumed the way it was done is press the button to make the pattern number go up to 1, then right click and...

ATM I've got nobody saying they're definitely be giving it a try, so I thought I'd ask here since it's a Megadrive-oriented community. From what I can gather, MD hacking isn't the most fun compared to others :(
