This might be a noob question but is the source code for kega available ? It's a closed source emulator. I wonder if you got any plans to release (parts of) the emulator under the GPL or a similar free software license one day ? (as this would be about the only thing anyone could possibly complain ...

Without explaining what it is that you are doing nobody will be able to answer what is wrong

Posting the source code that generates the tiles would help greatly

I don't really think there's need for HW in MD dev anymore. You can do most debugging in Kmod, close to real HW testing in Fusion and that's really all you need. I use my MD2 usually to know that my code still runs on real HW and to listen music and play games as emu is still an emu. I had not upda...

dang the Sega Genesis stunk. It didnt have good sound. It had good music (underrated, definitely, just listen to Ys 3 with a pair of headphones), but the sound effects were bad. That's the one undeniable flaw of the MD. Actually the MD has great sound but most programmers screwed it up with dodgy c...

And where you hurry? The speed of 0.5 Mbytes/sec is normal. The cartridge size is 4 MBytes, so it will be copied only 8 seconds. While 4 MBytes FLASH programming can take up to a few minutes... Thanks for the info, so my 0.5 wasnt as slow as I thought Its a shame those flash devices are so slow to ...

very nice projects

I am curious about the read speed you have managed to get with the sd card as on a previous project (not megadrive related) of my own using a microcontroller driving the sd card I couldnt get a read speed faster than 0.5MByte/Sec :(

Thanks ive just read through all seven pages, its a shame that it didnt go very far (unless I missed something ?) My project...

An idea for a development pcb

Ive been doing a little research on "Play Tv" which is basically a genesis console on a chip containing a rom programmed with 6 games, this games can be picked up extremely cheaply What I plan to do make a small easy to construct pcb using the minimum of cheap simple logic (no fpga's or other comple...
