This might be a noob question but is the source code for kega available ? It's a closed source emulator. I wonder if you got any plans to release (parts of) the emulator under the GPL or a similar free software license one day ? (as this would be about the only thing anyone could possibly complain ...

I don't really think there's need for HW in MD dev anymore. You can do most debugging in Kmod, close to real HW testing in Fusion and that's really all you need. dang the Sega Genesis stunk. It didnt have good sound. It had good music (underrated, definitely, just listen to Ys 3 with a pair of headphones), but the sound effects were bad.
